I'm old school, when we were children our parents would kick our behind about any type of disrespect and yes I know the some ignorant parents made it hard by over doing it. Some end up killing their kids or doing all kinds of things to them. When I was growing up it wasn't just the parents it was also the schools and neighborhoods and Churches that helped. It seemed all that just went away, people care more about money than they do their children and neighborhoods. I think that's where it starts. Myself and others need to understand it starts at home. Re-educating our children and most of all ourselves, that way the Government doesn't continue to raise our children. "The right discipline is the right education"

spiritual Knowledge.

Spirituality is about personal transformation and not a mass education.

Only continuous interaction with a True Sat Guru can bring about this transformation. This will eliminate the violence in us and remain untouched by the violence in the society.

we can start a petition to remove wrestling from all television channels. i am an avid fan of wrestilng as ive been watching it for 10 years, it does encourage violence. i am an example, i start getting really mad at whomever is around me- its hard to explain, it just increases the aggression i ahve. wrestling promotes violence, and violence isn't good.

but its hard b/c violence is so appealing, it's a way to escape the pressure society imposes on you. and there are so many ppl that are subjugated to society's pressures to conform. there are movies and music that are fueled by violence as well as books and poems. its hard, but we can try

in my opinion, violence is part of nature - its been going on throughout history, even animals are violent. you can choose not to be a violent species to reduce the numbers but i dont think anyone can totally stop it. It is natural process for some people.

Yes, I can make sure that this individual neither commits nor provokes violence in others. Perhaps my example of nonviolence will be a factor also. Commit random acts of kindness and intentional acts of responsibility...and always return your shopping cart to the corrall!

by not being violent your self..

in all these dacades definition of violence has changed a lot, what was considered bravery a century ago can be termed as violent today.. so its just that time will make people less violent we are still developing as human beings and our brains are becoming nonviolent as its now less required for survival...

as centuries will pass violence will be non existent, as it will i think will eradicate frm our brain for ever and tht wud be after 1000s of years later

Simple and always works. It is said, charity begins at home. I'll contribute by not being violence myself.

If most of us do that, believe me violence will be minimal.

Yeah, just trying to not be mad at people. I'm a rather angry person and sometimes I have a short temper. I used to let it get out of hand and I'd get really mad at people. Then I lost some of my friends though so I learned to just calm down and breath. I think if more people would just breath sometimes we'd be ok.

Yes, try to remain calm in tense situations. Cause a distraction, uplift other people. Lots of positive things can disengage possible violent activity. See if it works in your close circle of friends then span out.
