it seems the trail of tears goes unnoticed until something else happens. kinda makes you wonder. someone apologizing for something they didnt do, years after the fact, and why does it involve money? i didnt think you had to pay to apologize. to me, the whole thing is stupid. my great, great grandfather died in the civil war trying to free the slaves. i demand an apology, and some money.

I agree. Pure politics. There's not a person alive in the last 50 years that had anything to do with Virginia's slavery period. Why in hell should anyone apologize now???
