Yeah, I would lay off the frozen yogurt. You have almost 7 days down.

I'd give it up. The point of lent is to abstain from something that reminds you of the suffering of Christ for our sins. If you simply substitute one similar item for the thing you have given up, then that eliminates the purpose of your abstention.

Example: I gave up smoking cigarettes for lent (and, hopefully, forever). Does that mean that I have substituted cigars, chew, or pipe tabacco? Definately not, because to do so goes against the SPIRIT of my sacrifice.

I think it would be okay if you gave up candy too. I gave up candy but I've had a ton of ice cream. I totally need to start giving up some of the foods I eat.

im catholic, and it might be pushing it...since they really are the same ingrediants, milk, and its frozen. just a fat free version..

anything considered frozen treats is icecream. Thats what i would think.
