have saved a few in my life time
the best / worst / funniest / stupidest one was;
i was at a pool in a motel and i was on the other end of the pool flirting with a few girls, i heard this woman screaming "oh my god my son is drowning" and then in the same sentence said "and i can't get my hair wet because i just had it done"

i ran to the other end of the pool where the kid was still kicking about, jumped in soaked the mother standing there and pulled her son out safely. Instead of her thanking me she cussed me out for getting her hair wet instead of thanking me for saving her son's life, i stood there and said to myself.......... WTF

to be honest i think that woman would have let her son drown, so she wouldn't mess up her hair, and folks that's why some people should NOT have children

Yes...saved a woman who was choking to death on a big piece of meat...I can't believe how LONG that took to keep repeating the thrusts until it came out..I really didn't think it was going to work and I was starting to panic as I was the only one there...how to call 911 while still continuing the thrusts? She was already passed out but finally it came out with all the rest of her lunch (eeeew) and I was shaking so hard I thought the paramedics would have to take ME in to see if I was o.k.
My own life was saved 2X by my guardian angels or SOMETHING supernatural but those are stories for another time...

Saved a life. A old woman (early 70's) was inches from being hit by a car coming at about 60mph.

Live saved as an infant by angel... I'm told.

I saved a 4 month old baby from suffocation. She swalowed quite a bit of her cotton receiving blanket. I don't know why, but she had that thing in her mouth way too much and was turning blue, squeaking in her attempt to breathe. If I hadn't passed by her room at that time she might have surely died. I am glad I was there.

yes, when i was 15 I was in a very bad car wreck where I was thrown from the back of the bed of a pickup truck, I had flown about 10 feet and hit a tree. .. . Someone driving in the oposite direction saw me and started helping me, I wasnt breathing and he gave me CPR while the ambulance was on its way, I think if it wasnt for that I would not be here right now. . .. And I thank him everyday in my prayers for that
