Same old same old for me. Just got off work and now I have 12 hours to do anything I want here at this remote location on Alaska's North Slope. It's pretty much have dinner, take a shower, answer a few questions here, maybe watch a little TV, and then go to bed. I'll be up at 4:45 tomorrow morning and start it all over again. But in a week-and-a-half I get another two weeks off at home. Sort of semi-retirement.
Current weather conditions here: -22 F with 22 mph winds.

Well I'm sitting here in my room trying to get away from everyone for some peace that I really need and the b/f comes in turns on the T.V. and is watching some dumb a*s movie from I think 1923 or something and I real close to snapping out tonight. think I might just pass out and hope tomorrow never comes due to it being my last day off work and I have to clean all day tomorrow,

Well, let's see.....
There's a freezing rain advisory.
Up north of here the interstate is shut down due to a multi-car accident.
Down south of here, there was an explosion, then a house fire with possible entrapment. (Sounds like a meth lab to me.)
Seems like a good night to stay at home, listen to the police scanner, and answer questions.

Well not much. Right now we are having freezing rain and very high winds. So we are in for the night doing yahoo answers and semi watching Out of Africa. Thanks for asking.

Kid is sick and sleeping, roommate in his room watching TV, me sitting here on answers and watching Bridget Jones Diary, nothing else on. WooHoo!
