i have the same problem in my car, i tried a spray on adhesive but that only worked for a short time.
One day i'll take it in to someone that does it . i think it's about 100 bucks

You can try gluing the fabric back on or you can buy new header fabric (we bought it online) and glue it on yourself. The item we bought online came with the spray adhesive and instructions. It wasn't that hard but it will require patience and having an extra set of hands would be helpful. We later found out that if you shop around carefully, you can get this done pretty reasonably. Anyway, there was quite a bit of information available online for this project. Good luck.

To fix it properly, you have to take it off, repair any of the padding. Some good spray glue for fabric should do the trick, like the kind that's used for pool table tops. If you don't want to go to all this trouble, a friend of mine used flower shaped push pins (make sure the pins aren't too long, even if you have to cut them off) and inserted them in rows about 6" apart. It worked. Looked a little funky, but.... worked.

no cheap way if time is valuable to you, remove the whole thing and glue as needed!
