Some that answer the questions think they are so much smarter than everyone else. I had one answer that seemed like it was to another question! whats up with that? Maybe she thought I didn't understand my own question?

All dems are that way. They are arrogant enough to believe that since THEY came to side with the democratic party, that any rational, thinking, worthwhile person will do the same. They aren't big on diversity of opinion.

Another favorite is when they say something self-righteous and their answer demonstrates that they don't fully understand the issue.

Perhaps the answers seem condescending to you because they are right - and it stings just a bit. Generally when someone says "oh they think they are SO smart," it means they really are and the complainer feels inferior in comparison. I just answered your last question and the answers you received, including mine, were pretty cut and dried and right to the point. They all also pretty much echoed the same sentiments that 70% of Americans are feeling every day. Call it condescending if you will, but I think it has more to do with us feeling frustration and impatience with what I've come to think of as the Bush bots and their insistence on clinging to denial about what is really happening in Iraq, and how we came to be there.

Decided to work my way back from another question of yours to see what got you riled. Yup you left the door open with that question and they let the caca fly!

We all make typos some times, this one was unfortunate. Go see the profile for the guy named "tragic typos" He's quite a goober but worth a grin.

"Why do liberal democrats act so contescending?
Some that answer the questions think they are so much smarter than everyone else."

Well first of all if you could spell...... "Condescending" ..... We might not think that we are smarter than you.

Assuming you're question was, "Why do liberal democrats act so CONDESCENDING?" I would answer with another question: "Why do democrat-haters ask rhetorical, redundant, poorly spelled questions that apply a vague, subjective personality trait to an entire sociopolitical demographic?"

Sorry, was that answer too CONDESCENDING for you?

No. It's because you're question wasn't relevant enough.

Besides whatever happened to the GOP acting so condescending? I mean, here, I thought they were so good at--seeing how they controlled Congress for 12 years.

And no one complained.

Why complain now about the Democrats?

Maybe because we use logic instead of emotion. Maybe because we decide things based on facts rather than rhetoric.

It wasn't that long ago the conservatives were saying "blacks are inferior, because they aren't intelligent - everybody knows it " or "women can't be trusted to vote because they are too emotional - anyone who knows a woman knows it". Conservatives don't have a very good track record.

It"s not hard to appear smarter than someone who only gets their news from Fox News, thinks Global Climate Change is all made up, and thinks the Iraq war is going well. If you think Bush is doing a good job you fall in that group also. But good luck to you all the same.

I stopped voting Republican years ago because I thought the conservatives were overly condescending.
