how come alot of people hate hockey t-blades?
ino 1 nhl player who wears them jochen hecht of the sabres does anyone else
they take alot of etting used to but when u get use to them there like gold.

They get damaged far too easily. I officiated a game earlier this season where a player stepped on a broken stick and damaged the blades, took him out for the rest of the game. You can easily run a stone over normal blades but not t-blades.

They can't be sharpened, Instead they have to be replaced
The replacements are very expensive compared to a $5 sharpening
The rocker or profile is permanent and can't be changed
The hollow is also permanent and can't be changed
They sound like a freight train coming down the ice

kids use them because they can really just glide and dont have to dig in much but thats why the pros dont use them becuase with there stronger legs they have to dig in and for most guys its just what there used to idk why that guy is using them
