I've read the new science of DNA and would like to make a reprica of 'me, coz I love me soo much. beyond making a copy of my love of myself, I'd like to get a close human who I may let play my other half.... but only on my conditions. Anyone for asking?

What?!

Ok, while it is important to love yourself (so kudos to you for achieving that much!) you don't want to be narcissistic (in mythology Narcissus was the guy who was in love with his own reflection. Echo was in love with him & he ignored her so she was doomed to only repeat what others said, hence the term echo.) I don't think it would be healthy to clone yourself.

I'm learning to like myself. It's been tough because I used to have low self-esteem. It is important to love yourself but you can't focus only on yourself or you miss the rest of the world. There is a whole beautiful world out there to love & some worthwhile people too. So open yourself up to them.

I've been lucky enough to find someone who is a lot like me in many ways. You have to have similar interests & feelings. But he's not a replica of me. He's different in many ways. He's an individual. We have much to learn from each other. You may find someone who's a lot like you but you don't want someone identical. You need someone a little different to help you stretch yourself as a person. & when you speak of your "other half" which is a terrible term that many people use, it's not healthy. A healthy relationship isn't two halves becoming a whole, it's two whole separate people falling in love & coming together without losing their individual selves. Love should make you stronger not weaken you...

Good luck!
Again, I applaud you for loving you because many people don't have that & that's the first step toward happiness!

Maternal twins are clones. How many know that? Twins very often get along fine. Therefore, I don't see why you and your clone would not be happy. There would be an age difference of course. But you wouldn't mind changing your clones diapers for a few years, now would you?

As for finding someone who is not your clone? That is more hit and miss. Your "conditions" may not be acceptable to many or any people. Then again they may be wonderful "conditions" that anyone could live with - maybe even enjoy. It could be a good idea to be in love with you.

Now, get to work making a list of your "conditions" to hand out to prospective close friends. After all, they have a right to know what they're getting into.

Don't need love to make babies. I'm sure you'd be a fine mother if you already identify your children to be as part of yourself, even if you're only doing it at a genetic level. Just make sure you recognize your DNA subdivision's will. As it grows it will likely move further and further away from your own.

I see where you're going with this. I think that's a good question in all honesty. However, I think the variability is best because you probably won't get along with yourself (that's what I've heard). It's no fun that way. You have to be with another person to have fun with somebody you can actually argue with. Arguments are often times fun. ^.^

Love is the answer, but while you're waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions

If you made another one of you, who then would be the greatest person in the world? One of you would have to go!
