No your fine! its only a piercing!
I got mine done when i was around 13years old. The only thing that hurt a little bit was the clamp before the piercing but then it is absolutly fine! As long as your really hygenic then you shouldn't get an infection. The only reason some people do is because they don't clean it everyday. Make sure that the place that you get the piercing is certified and you can buy some special tea tree oil stuff to clean it with every morning and night.
I have had mine for 7 years now. People say that it grows all the way out but it dosnt'. It might move a wee bit forward but thats about all that will happen.

If you want to get it done then do! don't worry about all these people that think that piercings are terrible! its not like a tattoo, if you don't like it then you can take it out :)

There are many dangers with navel piercing. Because of the place, there is constant rubbing from clothing. This can cause an infection which can spread!
Plus, you'll need a parent's/guardian's WRITTEN permission because you are not a legal adult. If a person pierces you with out WRITTEN PERMISSION and something goes wrong, that person can be sued BIG TIME (even your best girl friend). Any company that will pierce you without written permission is not a company anyone should deal with.
Please check out this web site about the dangers of body piercing (yes, including EARS). Do a google.com search on body piercing dangers before having it done, please.

It depends on your pain tolerance, but of course there will be some amount of pain. Personally, I think that you are too young. Navel piercings can migrate and the majority of them get infected.. If you are really set on getting a piercing, I would suggest getting a tragus or pinna. Start small and then work your way up.. Good luck.

I'm a nurse and I had mine pierced too. It isn't too bad at the time, but it gets really sore later. I couldn't button my pants for two weeks but I am happy that I got it. I think if you get it done, make sure it's by a professional. You could get a bad infection. Take care.

honey, you should wait a little longer and maybe, consider the consequences of your action. Navel piercing may cause PERITONITIS, an extremely fatal condition caused by an infection to the peritoneum ( the wall that lies beneath your skin in your abdomen). Believe me, you don't want to suffer from that.

Yes, It hurts and if you do not take care of it, then it could get infected and that will hurt worse. You will have to remove it if you ever get pregnant and it will close up. I do feel that 13 is too young, however, that is between you and your guardians. If you do decide to go ahead with this, then PLEASE make sure that you take good care of it to avoid infection. Good luck

yes it does hurt. I had mine done, and just to let you know, a friend of mine had her daughters done at that same age, and her body wasn't done growing, the piercing actually grew out! so wait until you are at least 16 to get it done please.
I had mine done when I was 30 and it hurt like heck!!! it takes so long to heal and I finally took it out. too much risk for infection. please wait until you are older.
