I've been watching Naruto, and I'm part way through the fillers. I'm now kinda wondering--is it even worthwhile to watch them? How much plot tidbits do you get? Should I just skip them, or only watch certain arcs? Anyone who's watched them all, is it worth it, or should I just go on to the new episodes?

i would skip them on occasion, depending if i feel like it or not. Most of them are very funny, and have to do with the new episode that is after it.

I've watched all of them and I tell you, there were some parts that were boring. I think that the Shiitenshounin arc which was the arc before Naruto part 2 was the most interesting because I got a really good view on how much Naruto changed Gaara. I think that's the only filler arc that you should atleast get a peak at

I personally would say skip them. They are really only there to be entertaining but not in the way to continue the story but to just stall it and basically the writers have fun creating their own scripts for a while. It's not worthwhile in terms of the story plot of naruto or Shippuden as it has nothing to do with the story at hand. None of the stuff in the fillers is/has crossed over into the Shippuden series since it was not based off the manga and dosen't connect so it's not relevant and you wont' be missing anything important if you don't watch it. So if your someone who is in to naruto for it's actual story plot, I'd say jump right into Shippuden, it started off with a bang and the plot is getting thicker.

If you just enjoy watching it no matter the story line and just to have fun though, then watch the fillers, it's something to watch. It just won't cross over into Shippuden.

I've watched most of them and some are worth watching in my opinion. The Sea Country arc gives a little bit of background on Anko and her days with Orochimaru, the Konoha 11, Bokouchu, and Shiitenshounin arcs were pretty good too. I liked watching the episode when Naruto helped the Ichiraku owner make noodles, it was pretty cool. I included a link to the descriptions of the episodes in the fillers, so you can decide for yourself which ones you wanna watch.

Some of them are interesting, some of them is boring. But it is worth watching, since some of the fillers have something to do with the main plot.

if your talking about the fillers after the fight between sasuke and naruto at the valley of end, i advice you to skip it.

for my opinion, it gets boring after a while..

besides, the episodes that follows the manga story are already out so why bother right?

Naruto Shippunden's graphics rocks!

The fillers aren't that bad.. but some of them can be boring and stuff. if you have time on your hands and have nothing else to do then its fun to watch them. and sometimes the fillers have stuff in them that might not seem important now, but will be later on.
so its up to you

i would probably say to watch episode 216-220, because that ties in with shippuuden, however the rest of the fillers are just worthless and a waste of time.

not really sometimes they have a relavent story going then do flash backs and the entire episode might make one important plot point but not always.
