If they are not allowed, there is a reason for it, and you will be breaking the law. Come on....the world is full of different pets, think of one that is legal and follow the rules, seems they had to make a law of something so stupid just because of people like you.

I live in Melbourne (VIC) and I know that you can get rabbits in pet stores. You can also get guinea pigs in pet stores. They cost around $15 each depending on what breed you want. If you're not allowed rabbits or guinea pigs there then do NOT buy one. You are breaking the law. Buy a cat, a fish, a dog, a rat. Something that you are allowed to have.

Rabbits are illegal in the land down under because they are feral plague there.

I suggest that you buy guinea pigs (they are at most pet stores). It is illegal to have rabbits - they are a feral pest that is destroying native animals and plants. PLEASE DO NOT BUY RABBITS!!
