I saw one today that has video and audio RCA jack inputs so you can convert your VHS library to DVD.

Anyone ever used one of these recorders? I am going to get one, if they are good.

theyre ok..no prize but ok..like anything else, you get what you pay for.

I know several people who have LG burners, don't know what particular model\s though and they're happy with them..

LG products, in general, aren't considered "Top End" nor are they considered "Bargain basement". So,k I guess they'd be considered "Mid-Level".

BTW, *IF* you're thinking you can convert COMMERCIAL VHS Movies, etc tapes to DVD..... Think again, due to copy protection...

Plextor and Sony to me make the best optical drives.
