if it's fiberglass, congratulations it's stained into it and nothing short of sandblasting will take it out.

What kind of "crud"? Everywhere or just on the shower pan? The normal deposits in shower stalls are from hard water. If it has built up, I'd try a product like CLR. If you've already used that without good results, you need to call a professional cleaning service. They have access to chemicals that require a license to buy, but are devastating to "crud".

You would want to use a mild abrasive to remove that. Use a standard automotive rubbing compound plus a strong grease cleaner and a stiff bristle brush to work it in and polish out the tile.
You cannot remove that with an acid such as lime scale remover because that is a precipitate of calcium and glyceren and the combination of two acts like coating of glue and bonds tightly to the surface. The strong grease cleaner mentioned above will sliglty soften the glyceren and calcium combo and the abrasive with remove it.

I have used Irish Spring for years and my shower floor is spotless. How long did this crud (your friend) go without cleaning the floor, half their life?

you need to use a cleaner that has limescale or lime remover... try using simple green's limscale remover to clean the crud off
i doubt that its that kind of soap, any kind of soap will build up if not cleaned in time....most soaps have pretty much the same ingredients until you get down to the smaller portions of ingredients like fragrance.....

WWWWooooWWWW i desire to god u don't have an incredible motorcycle or invested alote of money into one. A pressusre washer will take the oil out of the seals and bearings. additionally tension washers use water and could rust the hell out of each and every thing after it pushes the oil out of each and every thing. If ur chain is that undesirable a affordable new one is like 5 dollars.

If the answer "CLR" doesn't work try the "Works" from Wal-Mart. They both remove limescale deposits. Other then this, you should clean the shower pan after every use. Ours is ten years old and still like new.
