At death we are resting in the grave until judgement day, so ghosts cannot be true.
But wicked spirits abound in the earth.

I really don't think that ghosts will hunt you down if you don't believe in them. That would be pretty weird. And anyway, tons of people probably don't believe in ghosts and its not like ghosts can hunt down millions of people all the time. I honestly don't think they do. I wonder where your little cousin heard that? Maybe hes just guessing or something. If they do hunt you down (which they won't), I've read in this ghost hunters handbook that they don't like salt for some reason, they can't cross running water, and if you meet an evil one:you hold a bible in front of you and say "In the name of the father, the son, and the holy ghost, what do you want?". That's just what I read. But I really don't think they will hunt anyone who doesn't believe in them down.
