I ask this becuase we have to do these current event things for science class and would like to do mine on computer technolgy, but the only problem is if he doesn't think it is science related then he'll ask you if you think it is science realated, and if you don't have any think to back up that it is realated then he'll give you a zero. So I thought I would get your guy's opinions before i risk the dreadful zero. Thanks much

If it is general science, I would have to say you are barking up the wrong tree. While there is some science involved, computers are mostly based in math. The computer works on a system that basically does highly complicated math to do things. Even this answer is based on the math that makes them work. The science is in how they made the leaps in technology to make them work. in the hardware itself. Computer science is considered its own separate category from the other sciences.

If you care to explain in detail how a bit of electricity can do all it does through the use of computers, that would be science. Otherwise find something else. Look to nature to find something that will work. Maybe Physics. Chemistry, biology, one of the usual sciences.

yes. technology is the by-product of science. go through your history books. how did technology arise in the first place? it's applied science. you first understand the principle or law or theory, then you discover an application for it, then you create the technology applying the principle... then you go into mass production, assembly lines and child labor in third world countries....erm....that's for another class.

technologe is all about science and visa versa.
Without science there woud be no tech and without the tech there would be no tools for science.
