Truth of the matter is, they don't pay more for gasoline. They just pay an outrageous amount for the taxes on that gasoline.

They pay the same amount for crude as we do or any other industrialized country in the world. They just aren't smart enough to elect folks who can give them tax relief.

Sure, the price at the fuel pump is higher in most places than in the USA.

However, in the USA, we actually pay far MORE for our petroleum than we realize. Every year (even without war), our military and goverment spend BILLIONS OF DOLLARS securing foreign oil so that Americans will have "cheap gas".

When you think on those terms, the actual cost of oil in the USA is much higher for all citizens than we realize.

yes we know this ,its out rageous there ,but for us being an oil producing nation ours should b a little cheaper than it is,but still we all complain about it,if we did have to pay 4-5 bucks a gallon then we,d have a good reason to complain about it,but for some people here in the states it might as well be 5 bucks a gallon, because they cant afford it like it is right now,i guess we are lucky though, good luck,i hope this help,s.

Yes, they pay by the liter and we pay by the gallon. A liter is a lot smaller and they price it higher. Then there's the taxes! Let's just say that our gas taxes aren't so bad after all!
