The only advice that I have for you is the following:
On Yahoo! Answers, there are every type of categories that are useful to every user. I suggest you take a tour of Yahoo! Answers for the following purposes. Read thoroughly through each category and choose to participate in categories that you know the most about and applies to your life and what you know more about than anything else. If your answers are accurate and if your sources are reliable, you'll get more best answers. I'd say keep answering a majority of questions and only ask if you absolutely must. This advice is what has earned me 180 best answers and has me at Level 5 right now. Good Luck.

You earn points by answering questions. Each time you answer a question you receive 2 points. You can also earn points by voting for a best answer. Each time you vote for a best answer you receive 1 point. You loose points when you ask questions. Everytime you ask a question you lose 5 points. When you choose a best answer for your questions you receive 3 points for that. So start answering a lot of questions and vote. And try to get a best answer. You receive 10 points for that.
