A ragged old red dress for in the orphanage, but when she is "staying" (before and after the proposed adoption) she is wearing nice cloths. The period is 1929-1930. It is in the middle of the depression so the peoples cloths that are not rich are not very good. Lots of patches and holes. Hope this helps!!

Do you mean the orphans? They all wear dresses and stockings that are a bit rough and patched-together, like hand-me-downs. The rest wear clothing of the period... around the 1930's if I'm not mistaken.

very raggedy clothing. usually really drab colors like grey, dark green and dark blue. they are orphans.
