Im considering a career in athletic training and Im curious about the different types of annual salaries that athletic trainers make working in what setting. Could any athletic trainer that reads this tell me what setting you work in and how much money you make annually?

The National Athletic Trainers Association publishes their annual salary survey findings available on their website; however the latest are usually available only to members of the association. The results of the '05 survey are available at the following link. It's pretty detailed and you can see average salary broken down by setting, experience, and education level. Some sites like salary.com have statistics available but this website takes surveys directly from a large number of ATC's. I reviewed it when taking my last position and it's pretty dead on.
