I was advised by a brother of mine in the Lord that I apparently sent him a dirty web site, which is ridiculous, so someone is coming under my name and sending this, I would like it stopped immediately

sent via email ? or instant messenger? there are trojans and computer programs which send dirty websites pretending to be the person who uses the computer .

(1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .Update it

and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode
(2) Do an online virus scan to check if you still have any other viruses in your

computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or

spyware .
(3) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one if your present anti virus is not

protecting you .

Doubtful it was anyone here. Some spammer probably sent you an email to you with spy ware, which took addresses from your computer and sent them the same kind of spam. While the display address can be spoofed, other parts of the headers identifying the actual origin are more difficult to fake; a computer savvy investigator might be able to identify these for you.

Hi. By dirty I assume porn, not a different religious belief. Some spammers use an email list from an innocent party to spread their wares. Let you friend know you were not responsible and try to ignore them.
