It depends upon what type of memory you have and what your older computer used.
Ground yourself (touch the frame) and take the old memory cards and see if the notches line up with the slot in the new computer, if everything matches up go ahead and place them in, the worst thing that can happen is that you can ruin your OLD memory which you have no use for anyway.

depends, usually the answer is yes but depends on the type of RAM your computer uses, if the cards only have 1 slit in the middle then you use dual cor *should say on the computer what you have also...* and if your other computer has different slits in it then you wont be able to switch them around or add from the other one.

You can go to this link and enter both models of the computers you have and see IF they use the same memory...........
