You ask a VERY important question, and you've set up a wonderful goal. I don't know how old you are, but there are several things that you can do regardless of your age.

the main thing is to be organized. If you are naturally organized, that's great! Otherwise get others (parents, older brothers or sisters, other family) to help you. Make sure you write all of your assignments down in the classroom. Do your homework and keep it organized so that you can bring it back to class. Some students do their homework, and then, somehow, never turn it in!

Have a set time and a set place to do your homework. Maybe you want to get a snack after school and relax for a while. But after that, start your homework, hopefully, at the same time every day. And go to the same place. If you have a desk set up with pencils and paper all ready, it will be easy to get started.

Find something exciting about every subject you study. This is your job, and your goal is to do it daily and do it well.

Give yourself rewards (or have your family come up with rewards) for all the studying that you will be doing. Maybe on Friday, there can be a "treat" for working all week. Give yourself something fun to look forward to.

Participate in the classroom. Ask questions, take part in discussions, be interested in the subject.

These are just a few things to get you started. Good luck on your goal!
