In your personal opinion what makes The USA such a great and influential country?

The quality of life. I've lived in 3 countries, am not American, and think this is the greatest place on earth to live.

Ok there are many answers to this question. If you asked an Afghani (sp?) woman, she'd probably respond "freedom for women" If you inquired in a third-world country, they'd probably reply "the abundance of food" America has so much to offer that other nations do not. But Canada has free health care...and we don't...so does that make Canada a greater country? It's all a matter of opinon. Its human nature to want what one does not have.

The fact that this country is relatively safe...you don't have to worry about terrorist bombs every time you step on the bus, there are no wars going on inside this country, we have a decent justice system. You are free to live wherever you want, travel wherever you want, and have whatever job you want. You have freedom of speech and religion. This country is so diverse, there are more opportunities, and there are so many things to see and do here to fill up your lifetime. People have been leaving their countries to move here for centuries...what does that tell you about America being THE greatest country!

That we provide a quality of life I have not found anywhere else in the world. The closest to our nation would be European nations. There are so many things we take for granted on an everyday basis that are not found any where else, that if you stay somewhere else for a while - it makes you want to get back home.

Tell me this, why are there 45000.00 people living there without health insurance. why do they travel with Canadian Flags on their bags, there is a class distinction, the rich and the poor. Kentucky for example is one of the poorest states. I think Canada is the greatest country in the world.

I don't know if it's the greatest or not. What I do know is that it's my home and I like it.
