The dry skin yes, I use cocoa butter. The dry throat no, I would call your doctor for suggestions. In the mean time you could suck on hard candy.

My son is 8 weeks now and I still have a tad of the dry skin and have had a sore throat off and on since delivery. My OB said it was normal but the best advice is to ask your OB since they know you best.

I am not sure if you are breastfeeding or not but warm herbal teas can help your throat stay moist and you can get them decaf if needed.

For the dry skin"cocoa butter" is the best butter in my opinion :)

I hope you have a speedy recovery.

My baby is 4 weeks old and I've been going through the same thing, dry skin, throat and eyes. I didn't think it was one of the postpartum problems untill I read your question, but now I guess it is.

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at the link below.

Your hormones are not back to normal yet. As time goes by you should find your skin back to normal. In the meantime, use lots of lotion to avoid premature aging.
