I picked up Chris B. Young from the Diamondbacks. Is he really worth all the hype? I somewhat think he is! That's just my opinion.

Being a huge DBacks fan I certainly hope so and all indications are pointing that way, but you never know....sports has its share of guys that are busts and don't pan out, and other guys that are groomed for stardom and come through. Sometimes ya gotta take a chance.

Young hit .276 with 21 homers and 77 RBI at Triple-A last season. He also swiped 17 bases. Young should be targeted as one of the top five rookies drafted in Fantasy leagues. His numbers were a bit down last season, but the D-Backs are still high on Young's potential. He is a definite candidate for NL Rookie of the Year, but don't expect anything more than a possible 20-20 season in 2007.

yes, he definitely is worth all the hype. im not saying he will be a legend, but the hype is worth it. he clearly has potential. his offense is above average, but his defense is more praised. he makes some amazing catches from center field. he has the ability to be a 25-25 guy by his rookie or sophomore season
