It's not the liberals or the conservative that scare me. It's the radicals from both sides that really bother me. Too much inflamatory retoric is coming from BOTH sides both in Congress and everywhere else(especially here), not to mention the insults. MIGAWD Grow up people. Leave the insults on the playground.

Liberal or convervative, Republican or Democrat we are all still Americans. I think too many of us have forgtotten that. Right now the only difference between us and the Iraqis is over there they use guns and bombs when they disagree.

Neither really.

What scares me more is simpletons - those with the inability to think on their own outside of the "liberal" or "conservative" box. These people latch onto liberal and conservative notions and favor implementing their policies without any depth of understanding of the consequences.

It's easy to spot these folks. they are dogmatic in their opinions, but they can never think beyond the rhetoric spewed in alignment with the party line.

There is nothing more fearful than fools and their folly.

I'm scared of anyone who classifies themselves with just one word. I personally don't know anyone who believes everything that either party stands for, so how could you call yourself a conservative or a liberal?

Neither really. The ones that worry me are the extremists on both sides.

Why should we be scared of freedom and democracy?

No matter what the neocons say, liberals aren't out to kill your unborn kids, steal away your gun rights, or make us all convert to Islam--by surrendering to the nuts in the Middle East right now.

It's all brainwashed propaganda by the GOP-spin machine.

Liberals by far. They live in the same la-la land Europe did before World War 2.Peace at any price.Even if it means ignoring growing threats until they spin out of control.Surely we can trust Saddam/Hitler/Ahmedinejad to act rationally.Right?

the radicals on both sides

EDIT: Cassandra, if you knew history, you would know that Bush isn't as radical as FDR. I mean, FDR was the definition of fascism, but he knew how to win wars

Liberals.

Liberals are willing to "surrender" our rights to make us "safer."

Listen to the liberals talk about Gun Control. They think by surrendering our rights under the Second Amendment, we will be "safer." Tell that to those in Washington DC and Chicago, IL.

The Liberals want us to cut and run in Iraq. Like we cut and ran in Vietnam. Except this time, the enemy has proven they can and will bring the fight to the USA. If we leave Iraq we will be fighting the enemy in our streets like France is.

The Liberals are the ones who think the rights in the Constitution are outdated and want to substitute our Constitutional rights for rights that support their agenda. They want to substitute the right to a gay marriage for the right to bear arms. They want to substitute the right of a serial killer to spend 20 years on death for the right to a speedy trial and swift justice for the victims.

They want to deny the need for military forces by closing down every single military base in their area, closing down the JR ROTC programs at all the high schools, and denying the USS IOWA a home port. (San Francisco Liberals)

They want to deny federal law supersedes state law, and state law supersedes local law to further their agendas. Both gay marriage and local gun bans are illegal under California law, but that did not stop San Fran from trying to do it anyway.

They want the right to criticize the President in everything he does but do not want you to be able to exercise your freedom of speech about political candidates 60 days before an election.

Liberals scare me more because they are so willing to give up that which many died for, our rights under the Constitution.

Liberals are all for taking what they can get and giving nothing in return. Which is why 80% of the Military voted for Bush in the last two elections.
