Each search engine uses a different way of sorting and ranking the web sites on their list. Because of that, it is rare to have a site in the same position on both Google and Yahoo.

Because Yahoo! and Google are two different things! Different people use them for different reasons!

www.foryourparty.com must pay google a lot of money for the top spot and on yahoo they dont pay a lot and get placed where low paying websites get placed
