Not knowing what the fight was about, it's hard to say if you are a good babysitter. Were you babysitting your sister...or were you babysitting another child and your sister was there. Any way it was...don't let one fight stop you from babysitting. If you keep the child safe and entertained and abide by the rules of the parents of the child...you are a good babysitter. :)

Depends: who were you babysitting? Your sister? Maybe you shouldn't be babysitting her if you two fight.
If you were babysitting someone else's kids, you shouldn't be doing anything except watching them. This is what the parents who paid you assume that you are to do. They don't want you to bring boyfriends or other friends or family into your babysitting job.
My parents used to leave me to babysit my younger brother and all we did was fight. He probably enjoyed it because it was very physical - lots of punching and screaming. I didn't enjoy that. I didn't have a choice either. And it did nothing to help my relationship with my brother (I began to consider him sadistic) or improve my babysitting skills.

Regardless if you and your sister got into a fight for what ever reason, doesn't mean you are a bad babysitter. Maybe you should have gone to another room or waited, but we all make mistakes in life.

Well, as a parent, I would not want fighting going on at my house while I was out. What if the 2 of you had gotten to the physically fighting point? Who's keeping the kids out of trouble while you are focused on your argument? I'd leave Sister at home next time.

Siblings fight all the time. i still fight with my brother and we are 19 and 17 years old.
Doesn't make you a bad babysitter.

yes, i think you are a good babysitter and should babysit. these kinds of things are normal. don't feel bad. good luck.

That's not good to subject other peoples kids to you're not a bad babysitter you just mad a bad choice. Just try not to let it happen again tell your sister to wait until the child goes home to comfront you.

you should not continue to babysit. whenever you are the sitter, you should not be fighting but be responsible. but if you feel there are problems going on that you have to fight, stop babysitting.

I think you should keep babysitting don't worry about your sister your sister isn't in charge.
