after she takes the receiver of the phone, don't say hello, just sing happy birthday song and then continue your conversation. tell her that u miss her alot and u love her alot. if possible send her a card thru e-mail or postal expressing your feelings for her and how much u love her and how beatuful your friendship is.

be the first to wish her Happy Birthday by sending a sms at 24.01 hrs. And then follow up with a call as soon as u are out of bed.
