Does anyone know of a good and inexpensive magician or puppeter for a 1 years olds party in the St. Louis area? Any references?

This is a one year old child here with probably the attention span of around 1-3 minutes if you're lucky. (I used to teach preschool).
Why spend all that money for entertainment when your child can't really appreciate it.

For something like that, I'd wait till around age 4 or older. Their attention span is long enough to really enjoy a puppet show.

You need to ask yourself who the magician or puppet show really is for...is it truely for your child, or for YOU to relive your childhood days. Really, I'd choose something more age appropriate and save the nice add ons for a few years down the road.

If you want something fun for the kids to do, borrow one of those nice little tykes climbers with the slide and /or tunnel. A child that can crawl will appreciate a tunnel and the slide can be used with help. A rent center may even have something like that without all the expense.

From journey a widespread birthday is greater valuable saved low-key. A puppeteer or magician will could scare such little ones in the event that they're dressed up in the event that they're even observed. At a million a real celebration could be too lots and turn undesirable genuine rapid. I recommend you wait you have years head for incredible events crammed with cool issues like magicians. kinfolk, cake and a few presents are greater effective than sufficient for a a million year previous. i do no longer mean to rain on your parade I do basically no longer choose you to stand a a million year celebration disaster like some I even have seen with screaming little ones and pissed off dad and mom.

Honestly, at 1 year old the child is not going to remember this so why spend money on it? I think that it would just be nice to have a small get together with cake and ice cream and presents. Save the money for when the child will actually remember the experience!
