*"stricter"* ignore that word!

I meant to say "is Sharjah as strict as Saudi Arabia?"

Not at all. Saudi Arabia is much more stricter. There is no dress code for women beside that you should dress "moderate". No shorts downtown or while shopping, no mini skirts and tank tops or bellyfree. You can wear these things going out at night to Dubai.

The UAE is very westernized and free. You also find churches what you won't in KSA. You as a woman can go everywhere by yourself and also drive a car. What's also not possible in KSA.

Sharjah is just a little strickter than Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

In Sharjah British women don't have to wear in black and put headscarf. They can dress as they like and the colour they like. They can't swim and drink alcohols in hotels and restaurants; but this can be done in Ajman which is five minutes driving from Sharjah or in Dubai which is more free than Britain.
Sharjah is completely different from Saudi Arabia
