New bikes in the USA are required to have the headlight on at all times that the ignition is on, so there is no use/purpose for an off/on switch. This has been the law for several years.

The TTR's have an on-off switch for the lights. All the Yamaha quads do also. So there's no reason Yamaha wouldn't put one on the WR's. Call a Yamaha dealership and ask for "sales". They'll give you the answer to your question.

In Europe all new bikes must have the lights on all the time. There is no switch for on/off just for high/ low beam. I think the rules are the same in the US.

I wouldn't think there would be a light switch on a racing bike like the WR. I don't know why you would even want one.
