The Rangers are not as bad as a pee wee teams, but it is kinda sad that they lost at home to the Blue Jackets and now they are #12 in the East. They'll probably miss the playoffs again this year.
Poor Jagr. I seriously feel bad for him. One of the best players in the whole world and he's on a team that for whatever reason can't accomplish anything, and the fans are mad at him because he is bad at shootouts. He took himself out of a shootout once and the fans were annoyed because the Ranger captain wasn't taking part in the shootout.
If the Rangers didn't have Jagr they'd be ahead of the Flyers, and that's just about it. He deserves to end his career on a contender, like what the Flyers did with Forsberg.

Never compare an NHL team to a minor-league team. Any NHL team would dominate any minor-league team at any given time (unless there was a COMPLETE breakdown in defense, offense, and goalies.) The defenses and offenses in minor-league teams compare nothing to what happens in the NHL.
Any team in the NHL can lose to another team at any given night. (Look at last ranked Philadelphia beating Detroit 6-1.) That's the great thing about sports. You can never have a guaranteed win in your hands.
