When it's "only in theaters", it's only showing AT THAT TIME in theaters and the DVD will be released later. This makes people go watch the movie at the overpriced theaters first.

The 20 bucks won on this bet may cover entrance, a medium popcorn and a drink at the local cinema.

They definitely mean only in theaters for the time being. I don't know why they even bother saying it. It's stupid. Since when is a new movie released in a theater and on DVD at the same exact time? However, the person right above me has a very good point!

No, that means that the movie is only in theaters right now (you can't see it if you don't go to the theaters). Later on it will be released on DVD.

No, it means it is only in theaters now.

It may have a delayed release to DVD, but it will eventually be released.

Hope you won the $20.

Unrated stuff means there are scenes that weren't in any respect shown to the those that rated the action picture(as in like a pg-13 score) or the action picture would possibly no longer have even shown to rather everybody to be pre-screened.

No, it means they are in denial. In the sense that there is almost ALWAYS a bootleg copy floating around somewhere. This is said to discourage you from watching pirated versions by giving you the impression that the cinema is the "only" place you can really see it.
