I use the usb connection and it loads everything but then it says Phone Not Detected and my phone list is up to date. What can I do? I tried with older phones and they work just fine.

Ok. That happend to me a while back, so I don quite remember step by step, but what I did was remove my phone tools and reinstall it, then there are 2 new updates one read something like 4.010... and the other one something like 4.210 ... Make sure that you remove the check mark from the latest version. You need to update your cell software.

IDK. The same thing happened with my razr, and i just went to the store and they fixed it for me. maybe you should try the same.
