My cellphone screen won't work?

Okay first, I went to use my cell phone and like the numbers lit up but the screen didn't but like when I shined the light the screen still showed up, and the back of my flip phone too(the part that has the time and everything) and so I turned my phone on and off and now the screen won't even turn off, the back of my phone won't turn on either. I've taken the battery out and put it back in, turned it on and off and other things that I could think of. Help??? I don't have the $$ right now to get a new phone.

I didn't drop it in water, I even checked the water circle on the back and it's still white. So no I didn't drop it in water. And I don't have a warranty on this phone because I just recently got it.

call the phone provider and asks what its it needs and asks your friends or family for the part it needs and if you have a contract it may have a warrenty it doesnt hurt to ask

I don't know whats wrong with your phone did you drop it in some water or it probably old. You probably have to buy a cheap phone but i know you dont have the money but if you really need a phone will have to buy a another phone
