Fuel pressure is perfect (70 psi at the rail), injectors aren't sending fuel down the throttle body... VCM appears to be okay, what else could it be?

If truck sits for a few mins, engine will turn over for a few seconds... if try to turn key over after it dies, takes several tries before it turns over again.

Fuses are good-
Injectors are firing-
Put gas in carb, will start up-
Has new fuel pump-- about to pull it to see if it's a bad new one by chance. I appreciate any other ideas.

i own a repair shop and the injectors don't send fuel to the throttle body the pump does,it sends it to the throttle body where the injectors are,and then it goes to the intake and in to the engine,if its not letting gas go through the injectors ,then it has a problem with the ecm unit in it this is what times and allows fuel to be given at certain times with it,you should try putting a small amount of gas in to the throttle body and see if the engine fires over,id say it will,if it does try checking all the fuses, and see if it has any blown ones there might be a bad one for the ecm on it,best i remember there are actually two there that say they are for the computer,an one of them can blow and it will still run,but if both blow it wont get any fire or gas to it,,check those real good ,the computer is that allows the gas to be timed for each cylinder,if its not giving it any at all check all the fuses real good, and also check the control module for it,one part of it can go it ,while the other part is still good, also the fuel pressure regulator is built in to the throttle body on this one,if it goes out it wont get any fuel either i hope this help,s good luck with it.
