My mother in law tryed to convinced my husband to file the tax return separately from me. I m not us citizen(i m from Europe). Her porpose was to put me in troubles with the immigration because if i would have filed them separately they could think my wedding is fake and deport me back to Europe....Unfortunatelly there are a lot of fake wedding in us because people want to get papers. It s 2 months i avoid to see her or call her...i do it in a nice way making up excuses.
Now she s inviting me and my husband to dinner on sunday night...do u think i should go and forgive her...i dont feel like to do it cause her porpose was very mean...over every limits...she was planning to make me deported and maybe even inprisoned in the jail...tell me what do u think i should to do?!...thanks

Talk it over with your husband. Of your concerns. Then, if he is willing to stand up for you to his mom, go. Be nice. and if the subject were to come up, about the tax matter, have your man stand up for you to his mom. If the subject does not come up, wait until another time if your husband thinks it would be best. It sounds like he filed joint taxes so you should be okay. It sounds like he is standing up for you with his mom, in a proper sort of way. Take care.

you can file separately it is legal. I would go to dinner with the husband and be nice. I wouldn't forgive or forget. I would make it clear to the husband prior to visit if they treat you with disrespect you expect him to stand up for you against them and the two of you will leave their house immediately. then don't associate with them again, if he wants to still visit that would be fine but tell him you won't go with him.

I would set aside some time to talk to her when you can talk alone. I would go to the dinner and keep my cool and then anotherday t alk to her and ask her why she did this.

I think you should go to jail cause you are an illegal. Why can't you get into "our" country the usual way
