Sorry to say, no. They just don't have the horses. At least not this year.

I am a long time Orioles fan, and last year became a Ryan Zimmerman fan as he reminds me alot of Cal Ripken.. I even have a basball signed by Ryan from Spring Training. It was sad to see the team do worse with more talent. They got an awesome season from Soriano and really sucked even worse. I agree that Frank Robinson was a big problem, but just like every team the Nats need starting pitching and Chad Codero to duplicate his 2005 45+ saves.. They are still a very young team and will take at least 2-3 years to even contend.

What are you talking about? Robinson was the only thing going for that team. They get rid of Soriano and Robinson. Poor front office. They are as bad as the Giants front office keeping Bonds. As bad as the Orioles front office, now that is bad.

Frank Robinson was a fine manager. It wasn't his fault the Nats came in last. With or without him, they will once again be the cellar dweller in the NL East.

Sorry, no. There is not nearly enough pitching. John Patteson is the best they have, but he gets hurt too much. Ryan Zimmerman is a good start but he needs too much help. I think Mr. Acta has a long year ahead of him.
