The back of some watches will give me a rash. I'm told it's a reaction to nickle. Metal allergies are not that uncommon. Frequently the allergy is discovered with pierced ears. Some people can only wear gold or surgical steel.

Sure. It's not uncommon to be allergic to certain earrings, etc... I knew somoene who could only wear white gold.

Yes, most metals except aluminum and steel as far as I can tell, tend to irritate my skin.

yeah, i am, silver bothers me when in my ears or sometimes on my wrists, it doesn't usually bother me on my fingers though, the only thing that i can wear without it bothering me is gold, i don't know about platinum, i've never tried
