They have good position coaches, the ability to play for a championship, good competition in practice.

Usually get to run a pro offense.

PS- I attended Univ of Florida and roomed with a few football players

They don't put a gun to those kids' heads, the players know what they're getting into. If you were the coach would you honestly tell good athletes not to come to your school? Of course not, you'd take all the players you could get. Either the players just want to be a part of that program, or they believe they can beat out the competition at their position. Either way it's their call and you can't fault Florida for taking them.

Yes they do get to play, it's called reloading. The Miami glory days of the 80s, 90s, and early 00s were a team full of superstars, with back up future superstars ready to fill the void when the starters bolt for the NFL. They were not afraid of competition. UF is on its way of doing the same as Miami used to do.

They do this first of all because they can, and secondly because nobody knows witch players will actually pan out. Therefore the bigger the pool of players to draw from the better chance they have of having top level talent.

to keep the other florida teams from getting them.those kids sign on with em.plus the coaches love it because the competition for starting has got to be intense.
