Here in Europe most of us think Bush policies are so wrong and endangering the entire world. We also find strange how he could get re-elected. But what does the normal citizen think in the US? The tax payer, the parents and the regular Joe? Please share your thoughts with me. Thank you.

you have to understand that Bush didn't win the election in 2000. it was handed it to him by the supreme court (republican majority). in 2004 Bush won 49% against and 51% for. the reason he won was because the christian right were against gay marriages!!!!!

most of America does not support Bush 72% and his policies around the world. in fact many of us our wondering how could he be the leader of the free world?????

he can't speak, is arrogant, and has the intelligence of a billygoat.

As I'm sure you can see by popularity polls, most Americans lost faith in Bush long ago. He was re-elected because of the feeling of vulnerability Americans felt at the time. That time has past. Also, his opposition was not a legitimate candidate and he basically ran un-challenged, even though the vote was fairly close. As a foreign affairs major I have a chance to see and work to amend the many problems with our foreign policies, most notably in regards to the Middle East, Africa and immigration. I believe change is inevitable no matter who wins in 08, but watch Sen. Obama. I believe his unconventional bi-partisanship and lack of special interest ties will put him in the White House. Rest assured many of us, at least those with more than a 6th grade education, know our issues, though this is still a great nation. I believe we will see 8 years of peaceful growth after the election.

America stands up and fights. As far as getting re-elected can you imagine what it would be like with Sinator Kerry as the commander in chief? That is not a good thought. My thoughts are that we have to fight against these evil beings that want to destroy us all. My thoughts are we have to stop all the left wing nut jobs from destroying our Great Country. Political correctness is destroying our wonderful Country. Illegal immigration is destroying our beautiful Country.

As a tax payer, dems want to raise taxes, raise raise raise, that's what they are best at. They just love to misconstrue our Constitution to fit their sick and twisted agendas. Americans think other countries don't have a back bone when it comes to fighting terrorism. If we wouldn't then who would? This world would be a muslim world! Not something America is willing to sit down and let happen.

Bush got re-elected not by showing off his quality points but by attacking his opposition with half truths and outright lies. Sadly, his propaganda efforts worked and between deception and fear he got enough people to vote him back in again. GWB does not reflect the attitude of the average American, he does what he wants and calls anyone that opposes him unpatriotic or says they are aiding the enemy. I am aware of only one other man that so masterfully used propaganda to rise to power and turn good people to evil acts. I hope history remembers George W. Bush with the same disdain as A. Hitler.

I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question. Although I despise Bush and his policies both at home and abroad, I have been irregular for years.
