This is free, and it's not a gourmet site, only a friendly one that helps you find what to cook. It has photos if people upload them, of the finished recipe, but it doesn't have videos. Maybe if you are starting from scratch, you could watch a video or two, but most easy recipes on this site I think you could print off & try out.
They take suggestions and comments, there's a good community feel to it, and if you can't find an ingredient, you can ask and people will tell you what to use as a substitute. Hope this helps!
