Yes, there is a series of young reader books called the Betsy-Tacey Books. I met a young woman named Tacey, and asked if her mother was a fan of the books.
. She was surprised I knew that, and happy I didn't assume she was supposed to be Tracy!

It kinda sounds like you are saying "Stacy" in baby talk. I don't care for it too much. I have never heard it used before.
I had a dance teacher named Cimmie pronounced like Kimmie only the "C" sounds like an "S", and I thought that was kinda cute and I have never heard of it before or since then either. If you like it then use it.

I have a niece who's name is Tayci (same name, different spelling). Tayci Lynn, actually, and I like the name very much!
