that person was obviously not that much of a fan as he is in the process of doing pirates of the carribean at worlds end and I shouldn't think at the age of 30 he would give up acting now

the fact that it was a CRAZED fan says it all, not heard anything along those lines, as he has just finished POTC3 he may just be taking a break.

I doubt it. I watched him in Troy the other day and his character was very similar to his characters in LOTR, POTC and Kingdom Of Heaven. And Elizabethtown was just dire. I think he's a one trick pony.

I think his portrayal of Legless in Pirates of the Caribbean was pretty good though.
