Because I am 18 years old and I definitely don't want any children

If you pay them they will do it.They might make you wait a little bit or talk to a shrink, but I am sure they will do it.

You are 18 and I'm sure they would legally do it - but you probably shouldn't - your life will change so much over the years that you can't possibly know how you will feel in 10-15 years.

If you get the Mirena IUD then you can leave it in for up to 5 years and I believe there is a copper IUD that works for up to ten but a GYN could tell you better. That way when you are ready, you can remove it and if you still don't want kids - then you could make it more permanent.

I am 28 now and am a TOTALLY different person then i was 10 years ago. Back then I was drinking, smoking (weed and cigs), partying, and had a dead end job in a supermarket checkout. As time went on I got better jobs, stopped smoking totally, only drink on a very rare occasion, and now I have a husband and had a great baby girl just about a year ago and we're planning on more.

Getting your tubes tied is a surgery - so I wouldn't go into surgery without weighing all other potential less invasive options first. And it is not as easy as some people believe to reverse - see link below for details on how they do the procedure.

Good luck.

I am not sure, sometimes it actually depends on the doctor you ask to do it.

My cousins ex GF who has a 4 year old daughter with him wanted hers tied when she had her baby at 21 and her doctor refused and this was a girl who has a disease that could of killed her by having a baby but her doc still refused so she ended up pregnant again at 24 and the guy refused again so she went to another doc and asked her and she said she would do it.

I would call around and see if you can find a doctor to do it, im sure at 18 you can have it done, like I said it can depend on what doctor you get.

Do not listen to those telling you not to rush into it , getting it done is not that serious. They can easily do it threw your belly button and you can easily have them undone.

I'm 22 and live in Ithaca Michigan. They are FINALLY letting me do it after three kids! Try getting an IUD though, they're good for 10 years.

Then use a condom, birth control, the pill, or one of the other dozens of methods to not get pregnant. Because who knows, someday you might change your mind. I'm 26 and HATE kids, but I know someday I still might change my mind, even though I've always hated kids, so I wouldn't do it. I doubt many doctors would do that for you anyway.
