Ever herd of a restraining order? That would normally work. Too bad they are your family..it should not have to go that far. but, if you and your mom feel threaten by your so call family members, then by all means protect yourself from them..and save all of those text messages in case you have to take them to civil court..
good luck in the process..

Get a restraining order that includes all contact. If you saved the text messages, you can also take them to small claims court and sue them for the phone bill.

This happened to me only difference is that they left voice mail messages that I saved and played back to the police. I file a complaint and the officer I placed the complaint with called them. I don;t know what the officer said but, they stopped calling.

If you have to show on your own that you are attempting to get away from them. If you change your phone number and they are able to get a hold of it again and keep doing it then you have a say. The judge won't approve it..since you are also cursing them out.

Go to a local police station and tell them your case. Ask them what kinda charges you can press and what evidence you need. The next time your relative do this, give them the details and tell them one more message, cops would be on this.

Don't ever respond to things like that. You are "playing into their hands." That is exactly what they want. They want to "get to you" and they are. Ignore ALL TEXTS. I wouldn't even open them up. If you can't do this then change your number and don't give it to them. Good Luck

These are your relatives? Good Lord.

Try to work it out between yourselves for the sake of the family.

And I don't mean by text, obviously that's not working for you
