I don't really like people I don't know coming to my house; so I said I'd rather we had it elsewhere. Is this terrible of me?

I don't think so if you're not comfortable with it, then what you had suggested, was cool. It's rather counter productive if you can't concentrate on your study and more concerned about those strangers.

i think that u should have it at someone else's house if ur not comfortable with it. BUT I KNOW for sure that u should invite people that want to come and learn the WORD OF GOD. cuz u cant reject a heart longing for knowledge and truth. im a christian and u should definitely invite others to ur bible study class.

email me and i can tell u more. are u a christian by the way?

Your house.. Maybe meet at your church.. better yet. the friend who is inviting people over.. change your meetings to his or her house. It's not terrible...but you are Christians right? Then trust your feelings. . Why not have the meetings at someone else's house once every week.. Rotate the groups location.

Meet at a Church and allow people to know; share what you know / study with others.
