where do i go to start modelling or singing career?

i wanna model or sing in Canada im in the age group of 13-14 years old. where can i go? is there a competion a talent studio??

There will be modeling agencies in big cities, such as Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary and Montreal. Locate a modeling agency and see if you can go there to talk to a professional. At your age, you should take your mom and/or dad with you, just to be safe. Modeling is a very tough field to earn a living in, as there are millions of people who would love to earn money by wearing nice clothes and having their picture taken. The competition is extremely fierce. You may get a step ahead of everyone else if you study photography and learn what makes one photo better than another. Understanding what makes good pictures will help you understand what makes a good model.

As for singing, join a band and join the chorus at school. Singing in a pop, rock and/or country band will be great experience, and it will help to strengthen your voice and develop your on-stage personality. Much of singing is not about how good your voice is... it's about how good a performer you are. As a performer, you have to be energetic and fearless, and most successful performers are quite different in real life than they are on stage. Getting started now will give you time to develop your stage personality.
